This question got me behind for Bloganuary, I was stumped, overthinking and all ready to dedicate time to creating a full blown family tree, but that didn’t happen, and now it’s a week later and I’ll share just what I know… Not much. I can name my Grandparents at a push.

I do know that the first World War added some German blood to the family and my kids have now a mix of Spanish blood in them as well.

Other members of my family have traced back the German line and earlier, I no longer have my mum to remind me about who is who, which makes it all feel a little irrelevant. But for my kids, it could be good to get it all out on paper one day and create a full family tree to share with them for future reference.
