My earliest memory is around my 4th birthday, when I got my blond doll which I named Sophie. The doll came in a blue dress with a school satchel, matching blue hat and brown shoes.

We sat to eat birthday cake at a round table behind the door, in a large room.

Over 30 years later, I still have Sophie stored away in the wardrobe, she’s now in a knitted dress and has bad hair, no idea what happened to the satchel. She’s still special and reminds me of that day and the people I was with who are no longer here. ❤️
